Have you noticed that it takes longer to dry your cloths lately? Do you have to run the dry one more cycle because your cloths are not getting dry enough?
Taking longer to dry may not be machine dryer related… it could be as simple (and unsafe) as a clogged dryer vent.
It is not uncommon lint from the dryer has gotten past the lint trap and has become lodged in the dryer vent hose (That silver looking tube that hooks to the back of your dryer). Not only is this a time-wasting issue because the cloths are not getting dry in the time frame they should be, but it is also a fire hazard as the lint that is lodged in the dryer vent hose can catch fire.
